Public Art & Festival Models Six Exquisites Sound Art Festival Design (see Model) The "6X Festivals" occurred over 12 days and was an innovative traveling festival which relied on the cooperation of various non-profit organizations where 1) the six artists were paid well with little out of pocket expenses; 2) artists were given the opportunity to develop long term friendships and challenging collaborative relationshis; 3) patrons were allowed to communicate closely with artists; and, 4) the event was produced on a very low budget.
